Singapore-based users will be prompted to link their bank account when transferring funds out from their StraitsX account.
The following information should be seen on your bank statements:
- Name
- Address
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Logo
- Date of Issuance (should be less than 3 months from date of submission)
- Header and footer (top and bottom portions of the statement)
You can hide or blur out any sensitive information such as your current balance and transactions, but it is important that you DO NOT CROP the document.
Please note that you still need to upload your bank statement even if you submitted a statement as your Proof of Address. Identity verification and bank account verification are two different processes.
Users will be prompted to link their bank account when transferring funds in and out of their StraitsX account.
1. You can only link and verify a bank account under your name. Please ensure that you link a bank account under your own legal name.
- Your bank account name should be the same as your registered StraitsX account name.
- Your bank account will not be verified if your bank account name did not match with your registered StraitsX account name.
2. If you bank account verification failed, you will receive a notification email. If you believe that this is a mistake, please reply the email and send us your Bank Statement or the first page of your bank saving book.
